BIOGRAPHY
GRAUSIG was founded in Jakarta in 1993 with
formation:
GRAUSIG is a word that is taken from Germany language that means, "terrify". Before singing songs from their creature, GRAUSIG brought songs from overseas groups likes SUFFOCATION and DEICIDE in every event in every place in Indonesia. Finally, they decided to make and sing their own songs.
In 1997, GRAUSIG released EP that gave title "FEED THE FLESH TO THE BEAST", contain 5 songs and distributed by them self. Because to many requests their first EP, then in 1998 released again until selling more than 5000 copies tape.
In 1998, GRAUSID returned to
record 8 new songs that recorded at Harmony Studio Jakarta and
distributed by Independen Record and at the beginning of
September 1999 released new full-length album "ABANDON,
FORGOTTEN, & ROTTING ALONE". Songs that contain on this
album have style 'NEOCLASSICAL BRUTAL DEATH METAL".
With English songs in this album, GRAUSIG hope to Go
International.
